Nicely refurbished interior spaces. Our room was fine however we were given the smallest double room with a tiny window even though there was only one other guest. Bed was quite lumpy. Breakfast is lovely (extra cost) but isn’t served until 8:30 which means you cannot head out very early.

Northern Ireland is a beautiful country and worth a trip. So is Portrush at the NorthCoast, close to the ocean, different sights like Giants Causeway (it's 25 minutes by bus) and a beautiful little town to walk around and have a coffee. For staying in Portrush, in my opinion the Antique House B&B is by far the best option. It is only a two minute walk from the train station and has also a car park. First time ever staying at a B&B and this one set the bar high. The breakfast was wonderful. I had the French toast was divine especially with the fresh fruit. My husband had the full fried breakfast. The host was genuine and you could tell he has a great love for what he does. It honestly felt like staying at home.
