the senior center is racist
A person can actually find something to do. I have taken a Spanish class, a Mobility class for senior citizens, play bingo twice a week. There is something for everyone. You may have to become a member to participate. But it is money well spent There are casino trips also.
I think it’s very nice & the people go out of their way to make it nice...& entertaining plus there’s a lot of classes you can take I really enjoy the ukulele class which is Wednesday at 10 o’clock and I enjoy the Paint Class which is right after that 1130 till whatever time and the teacher is easy......
Antioch Senior Center is a great place for fun after 50! Live music 4 days a week from 9:45-11:15am, a ton of classes to attend, and a healthy lunch served at 11:30, 5 days a week!! If you haven't been, you should definitely stop by! I wish I could attend the painting class, or Tai Chi!! And it is full of amazing volunteers who keep the Center running.
live music and dancing almost every morning with no cover charge or drink minimum! lol Seriously, the music is rocking and so are the seniors of Antioch. This is the best senior center in the Bay Area. Too many great things to list from food and nutrition, exercise, friends, and fun. Come on down some morning and check it out. If you're over 50, you're not too young.
