I recently brought in several pairs of horse breeches to consign, including two different sizes. When the owner got to the larger size, she asked me if I had “gone up a size.” I found that comment to be very inappropriate and unprofessional. Body image and weight are already sensitive topics in the equestrian community, where there is often enough pressure around appearance as it is. Saddles and items are great quality even when used! Bought a couple of shirts, gloves and breeches from the shop as well. A few months ago I came into the shop browsing the saddles, and I heard something drop to the floor in the back, it appeared to be a saddle or maybe just a halter but one of the employees flipped out and came running to the young girls who had accidentally knocked it, over reaction from staff and odd customer service. Not a bad place to shop for tack over all.
My first time visiting and I will be back for sure!! The selection of new and gently used is superb, plus they take consignments! Beautiful shop, I was quite impressed w/ this place.
