I went into the ER because my son kept having on and off fevers and coughs that kept him up all night. I went to a different hospital but they told me it was just phlegm, something was telling me it was more so I went to Lurie and it turns out he has bronchiolitis. I was angry at the fact that the nurse practitioner misdiagnosed my son but after going to Lurie....outstanding job and we caught the bronchiolitis early.

After being misdiagnosed at Vista ER in Lindenhurst, Lurie Children's Hospital saved my daughter's life. Everyone here genuinely cares about their patients and wants what is best for them. They are very thorough and make sure all of your questions are answered. In the 8 days we were here, I never came across a staff member that didn't give a smile. Even if someone here was in a bad mood, you would never know. This is, hands down, the best hospital I have ever been to. Highly recommended!!!
