Best Pet Store around Numerous times over the past several years, I have turned to Animal Farm, in particular John, for answers to all my questions about my dog. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable with all things relating to dogs (and I'm sure it is the same for cats). My dog loves to chew and is a fussy eater. John has always been able to recommend great chew toys, better than my shoes, healthy treats, and food that my dog actually eats! Rude, horrible customer service I have shopped at Animal Farm for years because they are in my neighborhood and I like to patronize local businesses. I have put up with a certain amount of rudeness on the part of the owner/employees, but today was the last straw. A man behind the counter, who said his name was John and claimed to be the owner, was so rude to me that I was simply astonished. I will never set foot in the store again. Neighbor or not, I will not patronize this store.

I've always had a positive experience here; the store makes me happy when I enter and I immediately want to purchase lots of fun things for my little guy!
Very rude and extremely unhelpful. I had such a bizarre experience in here yesterday. The owner was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I purchased a large bag of Innova Evo dog food and was also interested in buying a heated dog bed but she refused to help me. She walked away from the counter without answering my request for help deciding which bed to purchase. Apalling behavior by clerk OMG! I was trying to purchase seed and rope perches. I asked her which one was appropriate for an African Grey Parrot, and she said she didn't know. I asked her if she was the expert here? She snatched the seed and perches and told me to leave the store, go buy my seed elsewhere, that I had an attitude, and SHE CALLED ME A B!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE! The service is absolutely terrible!! I have gone to this location a few times because I like the selection. However, the woman who owns this shop is incredibly RUDE! Each time I've gone there I have asked her a question about recalled pet foods or their coupon program and she always speaks to me in a very condescending way and with disrespect. Many types of pets' supplies sold here I have a dog but noticed that Animal Farm stocks food and supplies for many species other than canine and feline. I like their selection of dog toys and treats. Prices are average, not as low as some of the other local shops. Still, it's fun to wander the aisles and find little treasures to share with my dog. Good selection of collars and leashes.
