Exceptional branch, Jacob as a rockstar he’s very personal. You know he cares because he remembers what you all talk about any notices when you haven’t been around in a while.
I have been a member since 1996. I had my parents become members in 2001. Wonderful credit union.
No longer competitive for those who save. Opened two more certificates today with a local bank. They may talk a good game but the numbers do not fib. 5.25% APY on 6 month certificate at Farmers and Merchants Bank as of May 8, 2023. $500 minimum. 5.20% as of Dec. 11 2023 with a Texas bank's money market account. 6% checking with a Franklin County bank as of March 2024.
They lacked to go over the fact that they would put a check on hold for almost a month with a new account and everyone working there refused to help. This scenario caused me to lose out on a couple customers and large amounts of revenue. Also took forever to just beat around the bush and deny a loan. Will be closing account soon.
