Horrible experience with lawyer Brian Evely while completing a real estate transaction. Mr.Evely did not/would not take the time to explain the documents we were signing and when I started to read the document and advised him that I did not want to sign anything I did not understand, he responded “oh boy this is going to be a long day”. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Will take future business elsewhere and would not recommend to anyone.
Would definitely never recommend this lawyer, he is exceptionally kind on initial meet and greet and then like magic both your money and representation disappear. He told me that I could do my own change of material circumstance when I was told by another lawyer I certainly could not. Had he refused, apparently I could have sued him and laid a complaint with the Law Society. He knew I was a victim of abuse and knew I had a lot on my plate at the time. So, yes, take your business elsewhere is my sincere and honest opinion
