You are guaranteed a unique shopping experience. After I said I wasn't sure what I'd pay for an item, he showed me the door and said 'all the best'. Tolerable otherwise.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. I had the worst experience at this store and would never return. The owner made me feel unwelcome by questioning what I would pay for an item, as if to gauge my knowledge of antiques and my ability to spend. He then blocked me from accessing another aisle and rudely said, “I have stuff to do out back, so it’s best you go; I’m resting the alarm.” This behaviour was incredibly rude and elitist.
Left me nearly speechless.
This is defs the best antique store in Melbourne. The shop owner is deeply into their antiques. He loves them so much and is so informative about the pieces he has. He puts so much effort and work into restoration. 5/5 for work and knowledge. The history behind each piece is fantastic
Awesome man. He takes time to explain the history of everything he even has books showing the different styles and he is very knowledgeable and helpful. Good value. Definitely go here if you are looking for an interesting piece of historical antique furniture that is very classy
