Coffee and muffins are ok. $5 for each. Not the cheapest but they'll do. Back at the cafe again today (August 2025) after a walk along the Woodland Trail. The woman running the cafe was slightly grumpy and got very snappy when I asked for a warm cup of milk for my child saying "oh I've been doing this a long time and I would never serve boiling hot milk to a child ". Cheese toastie sandwich tasted poor yet was very expensive. The cheese had no flavour whatsoever, it was probably not even real cheese but some ultra-processed cheap product from the grocery store. I don't even know what the bread tasted like. At least use good quality ingredients for the price you're charging. English breakfast tea was also overpriced and bland too. Very limited menu. Chocolate bananas on a stick lured us is. Ngl they were completely worth it. Really sweet and cosy little place with a big, warm hug of a vibe. Very cool.

Angus and Rose is really a magical little place. We had our daughter’s birthday party here and Susan was a brilliant host! Would highly recommend kids and adults parties here alike. Kids were entertained with healthy snacks and beautiful craft and garden activities. Thanks Susan!
