My 92-year-old mother has been in Abel’s care home since October 2024 and we have been quite happy with her care there. We toured a couple of other homes, but I knew the moment we toured this home that it was “the one”. The home is very clean and cheerful and the caretakers genuinely care about the patients. Abel and her team provided excellent care for my mom, always with kindness and love. The hospice nurse said every time she came that my mom was being well take care of as well, which we knew but was good to hear from someone who sees a lot. My mom also told us how good they were to her. Visitors were allowed and recognized upon repeat visits. The home is quiet, clean, and peaceful. What an amazing place for a loved one who needs special care! The caregivers of Angel's Adult Group Home are the most caring and attentive people I've met—and trust me, our family member (and the family) have been through quite a lot. Six months ago my brother-in-law received a serious brain injury, and after being in 3 different hospitals and 2 "rehab" facilities his diagnosis was finally deemed terminal and a more comfortable care home was recommended, along with hospice care. My Mom was at this group home and I can't say enough good things about how wonderful it is. Abel and her staff went above and beyond in their loving and personal care for my Mom. She recently passed and we are all so grateful for their kindness to her and our family. Definitely recommend!
I choose Angel's group home for my stepfather when he could no longer live on his own. Abel and her family provide a beautiful "at home" setting, and focus on providing individualized care for each of their residents. I had peace of mind that he was well cared for every day!
