It is comforting to know that our family found a place that our mom could thrive and feel safe. Every AL facility has pros and cons, and my experience is that the pros certainly outweighed any concerns. The new ownership is proactive at turning this facility around from where it was previously and have made great strides in assuring the staff is kind, compassionate, and meets individual needs. Our family was very pleased with the small setting and planned renovations of the facilities, paved access to the grounds for fresh air and nature was wonderful, the care and consideration staff paid to our mother, and the manner in which admin staff addressed her and our concerns.
I used to work at this facility when I was younger, and while I loved the residents and the work, the previous management was, unfortunately, terrible. I ended up leaving, but I always kept a place in my heart for the residents and prayed for better things for them. Today, I can say my prayers have been answered.
