**1 star** Service at this Andronico's location is consistently poor. When there's no manager on shift, checkout lines back up to 10-15 people deep, and asking staff to open another register gets ignored. It feels like customers here are treated as an afterthought. Albertsons, the parent company of both Andronico's and Safeway, also runs a store on Red Hill Plaza that's similarly troubled — dirty and poorly managed. This review is specifically for the meat department, not the whole store. I went to the meat counter yesterday and asked for a 3 pound pork roast shoulder from the kid behind the counter. There was a piece that he weighed which was only around 2 1/2 pounds with a lot of fat in it. I told him I needed 3 pounds. I was making pulled pork and wanted close to, if not a bit over 3 pounds, not under. There was a 9 pound piece that he put on the scale and then he proceeded to try to cut it.
