Horrible horrible horrible! Wish I could give zero stars. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with any business. I picked fabric then got a call from the owner claiming I had never picked fabric (and was lying to him) and threatening to throw my leather sofa “in the dumpster.” He then proceeded to verbally berate me on the phone. He is an absolute nut. His son who seemed more reasonable apologized and did transport my sectional to another upholsterer. I called this company with work to reupholster the front of a sleeper couch. They stopped responding to me and when I called, they said it wasn’t worth it to them and just hung up on me and told me not to call back. They have been completely unprofessional. Very much underwhelmed with the business.
Another great upholstery experience here: leather cushions for a rare vintage dining set turned out fantastic. Working off old pictures they we’re able to build a cushion, in leather, with just the right thickness and firmness to be both faithful to the original design, while being as comfortable as possible for a chair made entirely out of chrome. The leather backed Velcro straps are an example of the attention to detail they bring to their work. Thanks again
Gary's shop redid some pillows for me and made some new ones. He helped my pick out coordinating fabric. The workmanship is high quality. The piping around the edges is perfectly done. The pillow inserts have the right amount of firmness for their use. It was nice to work with him.
This is an old style Mom & Pop shop in the best tradition. Very nice to work with, extremely knowledgeable, give great advice, and VERY high quality of work. We just got our couch back and it's super. Better than I had hoped. Not cheap, but well worth the cost. Hard to find upholsterers and these guys are the best.
