The weekend of February 6-8, 2026, I had the pleasure of attending Andrew Pielage's Photography Workshop at Taliesin West. I found Andrew to be a very talented photographer and teacher -- this workshop exceeded the highest of my expectations. I took Andrew’s Taliesin photography course a few years ago and said to myself if he comes back and I’m available, I’d take it again. And I did, and I’d take it a third time too. After taking a 3-day photography workshop with Andrew at Taliesen West, I asked if he did 'one on one' private lessons. He said YES and I have done two lessons so far on Lightroom instruction. He is extremely patient, explains well, and has you do things yourself so that it sticks. Great hands-on coaching. I highly recommend booking some sessions with him. Andrew Pielage and the Fallingwater/Kentuck Knob/Polymath, Mason City, and Rockford, IL workshops were superb. Andrew and the workshops exceeded our very high expectations. He brought great energy and passion for photography and Wright to every encounter in the field and in the classroom, and he was very patient and flexible and took our preferences into consideration as we moved through the schedules. Looking forward to the next one!
I've taken two of Andrew Pielage's photography workshops. The second was better than the first, and the first was so good I took the second. Most of the folks who attend his workshops are regulars who jump at the opportunity to see the various sights he has unique access to all across the United States.
