I recently did a 2 day photography workshop with Andrew and the whole experience was excellent. He's a great teacher, taking time to get to know each student and providing individual insights and tutorials for each person's needs. He brings a genuine enthusiasm and good nature to the work that he does and I got a lot out of it. I'd happily do it again and recommend working with him to anyone.
Andrew Pielage lead a workshop at Taliesin that focused on understanding and capturing the essence of Frank Lloyd Wright and his personal home. His stories lead us deeper into FLW's work. Then Andrew directed our attention to capturing that new awareness with our cameras. It was challenging, enlightening and always fun.
Andrew mixes a passion for photography, and the reality of treading on sacred ground at Taliesin East. He is a great photographer and inspired instructor. Calm, professional, and knowledgeable, he is an ideal emissary and champion of photography. Well done.
Time well spent at Taliesin with Andrew Pielage. Andrew is that perfect combination of casual and prolific. The location was very special and inspiring. I highly recommend joining a workshop with Andrew.
This is the second workshop I’ve had the pleasure of taking with Andrew. He’s very relaxed and welcomes questions and provides great tips. I think I’ll be taking the same one next year, because Taliesin is phenomenal and Andrew helps me make photographs that are meaningful to me.
