Friendly, helpful staff. I was able to open my account in a few minutes. I deposited a check to open it and they explained the check hold policy for new accounts very well before I deposited it, giving me the option to cash it at my old bank of I needed to. I'm about 1/4 through the process of switching banks and they have made each step easy. There have been no surprises. I like that. They always have a smile when I walk in. Convenient local bank with friendly service
For the most part most of the people there are very nice...... But today and over Bank robbed me of $8,000 I had money wired to my account by a very reputable insurance agency that everybody knows and this morning it hit on my mobile app in my checking account that the money was there so I went there today to wire some money to my sister then one of the ladies said they can do it for $25 or I could do it on my app I chose for them to do it ,then someone who appeared to be possibly a bank manager or supervisor was leering ove... read more
Seems strange that you have to make an appointment to open a checking account. Guess they do not want new customers.
MAJOR SECURITY ISSUES WITH THE VINTAGE ATM'S. An unauthorized withdrawal took place at the MADISON branch. The next day, the ATM was "out of service". Where did my money go? They DON'T HAVE SECURITY VIDEO of the transaction. Now I have to open a dispute with my card company....Andover Bank seems to want to kick the problem down the road to the next people (card company).
