Dawson Lodge is a lovely care home.The staff are very friendly and caring with our residents.Always activities going on. Also a great place to work.

Dawson Lodge sits in the heart of West End Village, it has a lovely homely feel and you are welcomed by a friendly receptionist who instantly puts you at ease. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a kitchenette and wet room so you get a real sense of independence. The gardens are beautiful and an added bonus is the horses outside that are so calming to look at.

Dawson Lodge is a very friendly place, the staff are so caring and when you walk into the home it feels like a home, staff love to take the time to share in the activities daily with always something going on, the garden's are a lovely place to go for a walk with the residents and the food is great, with fresh cakes and home made.

This is a really difficult one as if I was reviewing the place I’d say it looks great the rooms and staff are lovely but as far as our experience is concerned it was very disappointing. We went to see the home with a view to my Mum becoming a resident. I had a very positive meeting with the manager and I was very honest about my mums needs. I was told that it would be a problem and I was reassured that they would go and assess my mum.
