My mum has bern a resident in Beech Hall for the last six months due to Altzimers and a major stroke. Before the stroke she was almost totally independent and this made setting in at Beech very difficult for her. Due to her ailing mental health she is now having seizures and the staff at Beech can no longer meet her needs. We has a family are devastated she is having to leave. My Mum spent 5 days at this home. She was admitted in a confused delirious condition with the hospital having lost her hearing aides. She had to isolate in a small south facing small room with no real ventilation during a heatwave. Individual carers were kind but It was made clear to me from day one and every day when I visited that followed that mum could not leave her room even to go in the garden.
