This is a really good store to get halal meat. We only saw one guy run into place but he was very friendly and had a nice selection of meat.
I found Anar Food Mart while searching for halal baby goat near Louisville, I wasn’t finding many options, but this place came through. They usually have fresh goat on Wednesday/Thursday, and the meat has been tender every time I’ve bought it. You can ask for custom cuts (shoulder, leg, or mixed) depending on what you’re cooking, and it’s around $13/lb.
