Ana's 2-day cuerda seca workshop was more than I expected. Her lovely studio, generous supply of tools, supplies and expertise, and gracious hosting all made for a great introduction to the cuerda seca method. I especially appreciated the atmosphere of experimentation and encouragement from Ana and everyone who attended.
Ana is a wonderful teacher - patient, attentive, and very clear in her explanations. She gives personal attention to each student which makes the workshop especially valuable. I thoroughly enjoyed her Cuerda Seca workshop and learned a lot in just two days. It was a joyful experience with a great group of fellow artists. Her studio is clean and very well organized. We had lovely lunches in her backyard, which is beautiful and peaceful retreat.
Ana’s cuerda seca workshop was extraordinary! Her studio is spacious, well-organized, and fully equipped with everything you need. She’s not only a talented artist but also brings an engineer’s clarity to explaining the technical aspects of cuerda seca. I learned so much and left feeling truly inspired. I’m already looking forward to next time!
I took her weekend cuerda seca class and had a wonderful time and learned a great deal. Ana is a great teacher- has patience, good explanations and gives lots of options. Her studio setup is well organized, clean and very welcoming (plus her surrounding gardens are gorgeous). I look forward to possibly taking future classes.
I just returned home from my second workshop with Ana. Last year I took Cuerda Seca and this year I took sculpture. Ana is the best and most patient teacher I have experienced. She is very giving of techniques and doesn’t hold back on sharing. Her talent amazes me! I feel privileged that she is close enough for me to participate.
