This company put a bogus collection charge on my credit report. The supposedly issuing business could not even find anything submitted with my name to this business. I will be reporting this to the BBB.
Warning to all consumers: Do NOT do business with Amsher Collection Services. They are unprofessional, unethical, and downright rude. My experience with them was a nightmare. They refused to provide validation for a debt that I disputed. They also reported the disputed debt to credit bureaus without any warning or notification, which severely impacted my credit score. They made a call via their 877 number and never left a message. I called back and asked the person on the phone for the name of the company. She said "Amshare," so I asked are they an investment firm or similar? She quickly said, "We work with personal financial situations." When she asked for my name and phone number, I said that I wasn't comfortable giving personal information because her response was odd, and it felt very much like a scam. She hung up on me.
