Amscot is mishandling checks and enabling wage theft. I was issued a check by my employer, JQuint, which Amscot initially accepted but was later returned, leaving me unpaid. Michael, an Amscot employee who also works for JQuint as their technology person, has direct ties to my employer and the account manager. This raises serious concerns about Amscot’s role in assisting my employer in avoiding wage payments. This situation needs to be addressed to prevent further financial harm to employees. I will be taking further action!
