We run mostly online programs year-long in service of our mission to bring authentic yogic wisdom to the world. Our founder, Yogi Amrit Desai is one of a handful of gurus who came to America from India in the early 1960s. This wave began the initial Yoga craze that has grown into the massive and diverse Yoga practices we have worldwide today.

I am truly blessed that the Amrit Yoga Institute is my spiritual home. The teachings and energy of our lineage as transmitted by Yogi Amrit Desai (Gurudev) have fostered profound personal transformation in my life, and the evolutionary process is continually unfolding. Ram Dass has said, "We are all just walking each other home." I could not ask for a more loving, supportive, and devoted community to walk with me on my journey of awakening.
Simply the most profound training's I have ever experience. I am so grateful for the teachings and learning the ability to live more free and outside of my pre-programmed habitual past. I have stopped doing so many of the things that I habitually did because it was what everyone else was doing, or because it was socially conditioned into me or because I was being driven by lack. I am now much more free to act in accordance with the natural intelligence of the universe! Thank you!
