I rarely had problems with the snacks I bought here. The prices were high in comparison to places like Safeway and CVS, which are down the street, but the convenience of the store being close to home and right next to the bus stop I frequent (Edgewater & E Hillsdale) made this acceptable. What made me stop coming was when I bought a Slim Jim and didn’t realize that the wrapping was damaged and that the beef stick looked expired, until I had already brought it home. It's horrible. They have signs with prices that they refuse to honor. Clerk was very rude saying there is nothing he can do even if there is a clear sign with the price. Told me to come back the next day to make a complaint. Uh, hello! This is a "convenience store" how is it convenient for me to come back the next day??? Forget it. I'll just start going to the Shell station.
