We stopped for expensive fuel and I ran in the store to buy a soda. Went to leave and upon tasting my drink the soda was some strange fruit flavor not the diet Pepsi I selected. When I mentioned I wanted to switch my drink the woman cashier said I would have to pay for another drink if I did. She said their maching wasnt wrong. I asked my husband to taste to ensure I was correct. He said it tasted like fruit. this place is consistently open 24hours, and if they’re not they put a sign on the door explaining the situation and apologizing. the only other option in the area is extramile and both the la costa and palomar locations are up to chance. half the time attendants are inside but have locked the doors and are unwilling to open them unless a personal friend comes by to hangout. the extramiles in the area never post signage. Try this place out if you run into issues at the other options, they’re more consistent.
