Great fantastic home
Our father has been in Ampersand House for at least 6 years and he's still alive! Such lovely staff here... A very personable care home. Thank you all for your excellent care!
Exceptionally lovely caring and friendly staff. Don't be put off by the look of the building, it may not be a purpose built facility but your relative will receive the utmost care. They looked after my mum admirably and continued to advise me after she passed.
This home has been wonderful to my dad and my family the staff are lovely and go above and beyond for their residents. My dad has dementia and he loves the home he feels safe and comfortable there and wants for nothing.
Our Mother arrived at Ampersand House in December 2022, upon arrival both my Sister and myself were warmly greeted by the Deputy Manageress. Within a short period of time, Mum had settled down well, and integrating easily with the other residents, all members of Staff from Management to the Carers, Kitchen staff all go the extra mile to ensure that our Mother and every resident are well cared for, this is reflected in the cleanliness of the Care Centre, the appearance of the residents, always look well looked after, etc.., t... read more
