This upscale market became so popular so quickly that the owners opened two other locations (one on the Eastside and one in the Wall Street area). The store offers a bevy of gourmet foods, including a prepared food bar. The seafood and meat selections are incredible, as are the fresh baked breads section and a wide array of olives by the pound. Always fresh, their fruits and vegetables are sold at farmers' market prices. Offering many ethnic foods and cooking supplies from Italian to Thai, a visit to the Amish is always a tr... read more

very good fruit and food – when i am in town, i get my apples and yogurt here.
Excellent for groceries AND hot foods. – This is one the best places I've been to in NYC. It's clean. The customer service is excellent. Their shelves are stocked with gourmet items. If you're into buying organic, they have packaged items and fruits/vegetable/herbs that are organic as well. They have a butcher section with beautiful cuts of meat displayed. All fresh looking. They also have fresh fish (no smell!). I bought some fresh fruit from them and thought I had died and gone to Heaven. The peaches were incredible. The v... read more
Great atmosphere & friendly workers – I've been to many Food markets within the city but i havent had a relaxing shopping experience. This place has variety of goods & services. You can always ask a worker for their opinion about a product.Customer service is great. I know that every department has their experience if i had questions.I can go there for hours and just find newer items everyday that i have never seen or heard of before which makes the place very unique. Bakery,Tossed Salad & Pizza fresh everyday and yummy! Deli... read more
great lunch spot – The food was really good. I guess you just don't want it delivered. Who the hell asks Amish people to deliver anyway?
Worst delivery experience – Delivery guy came to my office and called upstairs about my pizza but left before I got down. I called Amish Market but it took me 15-20 minutes of sitting in the lobby waiting for him to come back. When he came back he had no insulating bag for the pizza. The night was ice cold and so my pizza was too. I called Amish Market and all I got was attitude. It was the worst delivery experience I ever had on Seamless Web or otherwise in Manhattan.
WORST EVER!!!!! – So it's Christmas day and I had paid for and ordered food for a meal for my family and friends of 12. The Amish Market gladley TOOK my money and never delivered our meal. When I called them they had no record of the order and I checked my bank statement and saw that indeed they had taken money with out providing services promised. Keep in mind I have guests arriving and it's Christrmas day. They were happy to help me out as long as I pay twice for one meal for 12 people. Not only did they lie to me over and... read more
Awesome – Close to the best sandwiches I have ever had. Outstanding customer service. Visit and enjoy!
A wide array of cheeses, fresh fish and beautifully displayed produce at Hell's Kitchen's favorite gourmet grocer. – The Scene Catering to Hell's Kitchen's growing population of residents who prefer to say they live in Clinton, Amish Market offers a quality selection of specialty goods, including a respectable produce section. Beautiful baskets hang from the ceiling, and blue and while tiles cover the walls. Customers stop by for lunch or to grab gourmet ingredients for the evening meal. The Goods White-jacketed counter help... read more
Wow – This place is clean, well-stocked, smells great and has stuff that I don't know if I could find anywhere else. Good stuff for gourmet dinners/parties. Bakery's fantastic, produce is wonderful, and I believe they have every variety of cheese and olive known to man. But it's hard to justify buying staple stuff like ketchup, tuna, etc. here. It's a good 10-20% more expensive than normal places and right next door there's a (somewhat seedy) store where you would feel less like a rube buying dry goods, etc.
