The comment by the individual that refers to the property manager knowing tenants by name is the property manager's husband. Lived here 6 months, this is a project for the elderly, infirmed and impoverished. Property manager lied like a dog before we moved in, i.e. public transit comes to the entrance of the complex, the average age of the residents (they are much older than stated) wonderful activities, a property van that takes residents to outside events. I really like living here .The manager and maintenance crew are there to help whenever I need them . It is nice to have snow shoveled. I would recommend this place .
I've been here over 5 years and Amherst is Heaven sent...I'm a veteran that needed peace and quiet and beautiful garden type scenery and Amherst has superceded my expectations...giving 5 stars isn't enough so I'm giving 10 stars... Management goes above and beyond, maintenance is great and that Lori lady is one of kind...she makes you feel like part of her family but she can be firm when needed...we need more people in the world like her
