I just wanted everyone to be aware Ameris Bank is only offering a forbearance for hardship assistance. This offers no help since you will be expected to repay ever payment you missed all at once. Very disappointed in what is supposed to be a local bank and that Ameris is not offering assistance with the pandemic.
Longtime customer with fidelity. Ameris is going to lose me after the way I was handled on the phone. Shopping refi options now.
