I haven't been to an eye doctor for a least 3 yrs. I asked a friend and he referred me to American Vision. The minute I walked in I was sold. The staff is very nice and Dr. Kirshner is the Best. His wife, Cindy showed me some frames and really knows the styles and what looks good on you. Took the measurements and told me they would be ready in an hour. Now just waiting for my contacts. I love my new glasses can't wait for my contacts.

I've been going to American Vision for 7 years now. They have a great selection of frames, an amazing staff and doctor Kirshner is the BEST! I went for an eye exam with my newborn (first child) and she started fussing because it was close to her feeding time. Well, Doctor Kirshner stopped the examination, turned to my baby and started rocking her in her car seat. She calmed down and he tried to continue with the examination but she started up again. Had a wonderful experience here! Every other time I got new glasses, I wandered aimlessly and tried on half the inventory. Here, they measured a few things, asked for what I wanted and showed me what ended up being the perfect pair without me having to get up from my seat. The doctor was also super nice and knowledgeable and answered all the silly equipment and general questions (like how do bifocal contacts work?) that I always wanted to ask but my previous doctors looked too annoyed to bother.
