Is there a way to give a lower than one star? They raised our rates by $800 this year... Yup, after 15 years without filing a single claim. Had one adjuster say we were too close to the lake... Hint ALL of Levy county Florida would be under 6ix feet of water if the lake ever touched our front door. Topographic maps REALLY need to be used. Been a customer of AS for 1 year. My initial enrollment a year ago offered very competitive rates, and coupled with Progressive for my Auto policy, resulted in an overall savings of close to 50%. Just received my renewal notice from AS, premium has gone up 36% YOY. The savings I was receiving that first year from bundling home and auto has all but vanished. Currently working with insurance agent to see if this was a mistake, but if premium quote for renewal is correct, I will be looking elsewhere.
