It's always a good experience because it feels good to help. People need blood, so think about donating if you're comfortable with it. It's a quick process. They got some new technology, making the experience easier by using a finger clip to measure your iron levels (12.5)..kinda like what you'd get at a hospital to keep track of your blood pressure/heartbeats..so finger pricks are no longer needed. The donations department staff are super and very attentive to the comfort of the donors. Whitney, Holley, Lindsey, Jackie, Tacara, Jamie and Devi are all a credit to the Red Cross.
