I’ve gone twice in the last 2 years. The boat is clean, comfortable, and staffed with friendly, helpful professionals. The on board naturalist is knowledgeable and entire crew help spot. The cruise is a cushy 3 hour ride offering scenic views of Jamaica Bay Inlet, Coney Island, Rockaway Peninsula, and parts of the Manhattan skyline. If there’s a lack of whales, they offer discounted tickets for the next time.

Got on board for a whale watching excursion on 11/1. The naturalist leading the tour was very informative. Went past the scheduled time because the crew were determined to find a whale. Finally caught up with a juvenile humpback. Saw a couple spouts and the dorsal fin. The whale didn’t put on much of a show, but it was a thrilling experience nonetheless. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful day on the American Princess. Saw Lots of dolphins and humpbacks and even one minke whale. Celia and the crew we're really helpful and told us lots of interesting facts. Enjoyed it very much

I went on the boat back in September expecting not too see anything because you know #nature. To my surprise we saw 3 humpback whales and a pod of 300 dolphins, I feel very lucky, highly recommend! The Crew knew what they were doing and were very informative. Bar and food items are cash only fly.
