The model was based off of a highly successful school in Colorado - Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy. I went to this school for 3 and a half years and it was ok. The teachers were amazing (especially Ms. Swanner, Ms. Williams, and Ms. Morris), but the card moves (punishment or reminder) are a little harsh. I had one teacher give me a #8 (1-10, 10 being the worst) because I couldn't find a piece of trash on the floor. I also think that they push the students too hard. My sister and I were in 7th grade math while my sister was in 5th grade, and I was in 6th. They do service projects every year, and the students are all friendl... read more
