My mom bought this insurance in 2021. It was not presented that there was a limit to the time out of state. Due to her health she came to my house in September 2024, and entered hospice in January. When she passed on April 15, 2025 I was informed that they would not do anything because of their policy of 6 months. They have refused to do anything to help even though my mom could not have been transported back to her home state. The person who informed me of the policy was very abrupt and uncaring

Not only are we proud to offer the Freedom-to-Go Plan from APASI to our clients but the team, and Andrew, are phenomenal to work with. My parents had purchased this travel plan in the late 90's as they traveled alot. My Dad had come to visit me and sadly passed away. He passed around 9am in my home as he was on hospice. I called to utilize this travel insurance. We were told that we could not move him until we got approval. I had to call MANY, MANY times and each time I called; I explained that I had a 5 yr old in the house and that I wanted to protect him from seeing my Dad. I am with a woman who husband has not yet passed, this company is giving her the run around, not receiving return phone calls and all over the paper work is will not reimburse. I am editing this review. I still am disappointed that she was not able to confirm the services and make a plan. However, in the end this company did follow through and provide services contracted.
