Mom didn’t know what to expect when we moved her to American House Cedarlake. At 98 years old, she had lived in her own home all these years until she had a stroke. It was very upsetting to her! But the day we brought her to American House, she was met at the door by Dan who would be her nurse. He was so welcoming to her! I don't even know where to begin to describe the kindness, compassion and professionalism of the staff at American House Cedarlake. Everyone, from the administration, to the nursing staff, to the maintenance and housekeeping went above and beyond to make my dad's stay there comfortable and to feel like home.
