I’ve been here a little while now, and I truly feel at home. The staff are kind and always take the time to check on me. The activities director is wonderful at keeping us busy. There’s always something fun going on.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I moved in, but it’s been a pleasant surprise. The meals are good, the place is clean, and there’s always something going on if you want to join in. It’s a nice place to spend my days
I can't say enough kind things about the staff at American House! They are kind, caring, compassionate, love to have fun with the residents, and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. I love all the little "extras" they do for the residents, too - trick-or-treating, an Oscar party, hiking club. It's fantastic. It's a tremendous comfort knowing our dad is in a place where he is very well cared for. Thank you, American House, for everything!
The staff at American House has been so wonderful to my family. They take great care of our loved one, communicate with us via text and email (because we prefer it,) do a great job of coordinating and communicating with medical/occupational therapy staff coming in and out, and they advocate for their needs. Te'a has gone above and beyond multiple times, most recently suggesting and arranging grief counseling -- she didn't have to, but she went out of her way to think about our loved one's difficulties and potential solutions... read more
Staff is wonderful and management also, Meridee which is the administrator is the issue she is very rude and disrespectful, she does not care about your loved one and talks and treats her staff horrible. The place would be wonderful if she was not around!
