With over 26 years of experience in the real estate & mortgage lending business myself, I can't advise you more strongly to use anyone else but American Home Loans. They were very unprofessional, had extremely poor communication skills, were constantly changing items needed for approval and had no sense of urgency and were dishonest. The closing date was delayed 24 days after the contracted closing date, so it took them from Aug 24 to Nov 2nd to approve and close a loan. The loan officer, Sean Khan, was clueless.
