BEWARE.I needed to renew my CPR certification for work and went onto their website to find an instructor and found one in my area, so I contacted the instructor and set up a day and sent my payment via Zelle then i was ghosted. Texted the instructor questions like where the class would be to meet and do I need to buy any material and received no text or anything back its been over a week. This organization is a scam. They will charge for an online class and once you complete it, there will be no record of it. And when you schedule the hands-on portion of the class, the instructor will tell you that the online portion is not accepted. You will have to pay an additional $90 to do the entire class again. If you ask for a refund, they will tell you that you're SOL. Screwing people over for trying to learn CPR. Absolutely disgusting.
They just tried to oppose bill that would definitely help to make people healthy (bill would prohibit using food stamps on junk foods). After that - I have ZERO trust in the association. They are sponsored by junk food giant corporations (yes, they are, just do a little search yourself) and obviously they do need the racket (government sponsoring poor people to buy junk food) to continue.
Very nice instructors for CPR first aid.
