Excellent museum explaining one of the largest American trading companies in the world and the work Dr. Beaumont did on the human digestive system! Plenty to see and learn and at one time several pictures explaining the work of Dr. Beaumont, which were kind of gross but interesting none the less! A must stop if your visiting the island!

This store & the house across the street are both included in the Downtown ticket - buy online, you can NOT buy tickets here and will be asked to leave if you don't have them already. The lady is very welcoming and informative.
$10 gets you this incredible show about gastrointestinal research and a trading post PLUS the McGulpin house, Manoogian Art Museum, Biddle House, and Benjamin blacksmith shop. Add $7 if you want to see the fort. Reenactors add to the fun.
