Absolutely do not use this company- American Fidelity- for supplemental cancer insurance. I had a policy with them for 29 years and paid $316 per year. Other than reimbursing me $60 for years with routine mammograms, I made no claims until I actually was diagnosed with cancer. Despite documentation I submitted from physicians, MyChart, my insurance company, and my hospital over and over, American Fidelity denied every single claim. I feel this company does not safeguard my social security number. They send tax forms for plans I have not participated in. And you cannot speak to a live person. If you press 0 to bypass the tree it just hangs up on you. Run away from this company as fast as possible.
