I will start off by saying the staff at this bank, from behind the counter to the bankers themselves are great people. Always polite courteous, and understanding. Covid hit me hard and I fell behind On my auto loan, they worked with me as I scrambled to find a second job to catch up on my payments. Insert their rude arrogant recovery manager ****. AE financed my car loan and I got stuck dealing with their crude attempt at customer service. I received a letter with the 1st payment being due a week prior to receiving it. I called right away to extend this payment... Surely it was a mistake they would take care of quickly. After getting put on hold again and again for an excessive amount of time. This is a trustworthy bank to take it in consideration for an auto loan. They care about customers benefit as well as doing their business. They wont be the one just care about themselves. I got auto loan from them and everything is transparent, there was no application fees or any other fees that are not necessary. They explain to me every part of the cost, like tax, interest rate, title transfer fee, etc. I am really happy about their services.

My experience with AE Bank was excellent. Jerry and his team have taken very good care of my needs...and locally. No need to call someone states or countries away. It's nice to have a neighborhood bank to work with and talk about the neighborhood we love. Thank you Jerry & team!

This bank has decided to offer a program to take advantage of the Covid-19 situation to increase their revenue. They allow their customers to defer a payment, but charge a fee while not halting interest! They claim in Orwellian doublespeak "the discounted extension fee is not additional interest, a penalty, a late fee, delinquency, or default or finance charge". extremely hard to get answers from them. Each person tells you something different. Car dealer made mistake and sent refund money due me to them and they cannot handle getting it to the correct person. This has been 3 weeks they have money that doesn't belong to them. I even offered to drive 2 hours and they told me don't bother. Well don't bother doing business here
