The number on the website and the one on google maps takes you to a prompt that says they are closed during listed hours of operation. The hours that are listed on their website and on google maps does does not match the hours of witch they answer the phone. I get an unrecognizable dept. I call to try to resolve it. And no one is will to pick up the phone. I guess they only act like they collect money but really they dont. I wonder what the irs thinks of this.
This deserves 0 stars but it makes you select at least 1 star. This is a scam. Letter was addressed to my husband and they claimed he had an unpaid PayPal debt of $100. We don't have PayPal. I was prepared that this was a scam by reading all the reviews. When I called and they asked for the name, I provided the name of who it was addressed to along with the 8 digit reference number. I had a very pleasant interaction with the agent that I spoke to over the phone. This is in fact a legitimate company that PayPal uses, however, I believe there’s scammers trying to impersonate them. They will most likely CALL you before sending anything to your mailing address. I asked a few questions beforehand (what store was the for? What was the balance? When was my last payment? etc) before I set up a payment plan, just to be sure I wasn’t being scammed and thankfully, I was not.
Be very cautious. The situation they contacted me about was fraudulent (verified by the company they were collecting for) and when I wouldn't give then any additional information not on the letter the sent me they refused to continue talking to me. This was after notifying the first person that I was recording the call and had to wait a bit for them to find a manger, stating that when callers record the call only a manger can handle the call.
