I sent out a very detailed email about conditions my son is experiencing while locked up in a county jail that aren’t of standard. I have not got a response and they never answer their phone. What is the point in this organization!!!
Thank you ACLU for all you do. They are working in courts, legislatures, and communities in Utah to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country. God bless them
In 2004 I was placed on the "Patriot Act' list due to an incident crossing the Mexico border back to San Ysidro, CA. After moving to SLC I was being harassed by law enforcement and my storage unit was breeched several times with items missing one at a time. Knocking on the door of the ACLU an employee answered and I explained my situation. She gave me a business card and said call to set an appointment.
