My dear friend recently worked with Joe Hoover, Poetry Editor, and had a terrible experience. He accepted the poem and then didn't. What an arbitrary process to become published. Not professional at all. I would suggest finding a different publication to house your writing that has a more fair and balanced approach.
I went to a lecture/talk on the most resent Synod on the Amazon. Great speaker and great place to visit.
