They just lost a long time customer. I have used their bags for over 20 years, when my Mother-In-Law first bought me one. They wear like iron and I have many styles, types. There was a time they used to repair them. I had one and still had the warranty card that reminded me of that. I went to order a new bag with the intent to get the old broken one repaired.
