I see why the stars are so low Michael the teller provided me with horrible customer service both times I’ve been in. The manager Steve wasn’t much better at doing / knowing his job don’t use this bank they are HORRIBLE.
Do not bank here! I have had two accounts with them for over 12 years. After surgery and a bit out of work, I needed some assistance with some things. No help or understanding whatsoever. Then, after the HURRICANE, my paycheck was late to arrive. The paying agency did not send the checks on time due to NOT HAVING ELECTRICITY. I tried to stop payment on some bills but missed a few- it was all happening after the storm- so everything was a bit crazy. Amegy stuck me with TONS of fees. Been banking with them for years and never experienced a problem until I did and needed there help and it was the worst canceled card 3 times and it took them till the fourth to cancel fully it said refund would take 10 days yet it been a month and they won’t help out inside the building slow and old better off keeping ur money with you
They deserve no stars. This banking institution holds direct deposits for days then informs you they never received it, even if you have proof they did. This about the worst bank I've ever had and I'm glad I decided to leave today.
