Was disappointed to have paid $20 for a seat in far worse shape than that beat-up sofa in your mother's basement.
Loved the seats and sound. We picked up ours snacks after ordering them at the ticket kiosk. Next time I will ordered tickets and snacks on the app so we don't have to wait in line.
In AMC Tysons, the only leather recliners are for the Dolby auditorium which there is an upcharge for (~$25 or ~$11 on $5 discount days if you are a premiere member). The Dolby seats don't even fully recline like those at Cinemark (Fairfax Corner) or Regal (Fairfax Towne Center). Imax 2D/3D at Tysons are small seats you would expect from 15 years ago. AMC Tysons Corner 16 gets a solid 4⭐ rating. This theater is almost always busy, so expect a bit of chaos, especially on weekends or big movie nights. Definitely come early because you’ll want the extra buffer time for parking, concessions, and getting settled before the movie starts. That said, it’s still one of the best IMAX theater experiences around. The screens, sound, and overall movie experience make it worth dealing with the crowds. If you’re looking for a great place to watch a big release, this is a strong choice.
Disgusting. The theater was a circus. It was a very busy day but that is not excuse for urine being all over the floor in both the men’s and women’s restrooms. The fixings bar was a disaster and everything was empty. Food was way over priced (not surprised). In the theater people were on their cell phones making phone calls .
