I've been with this bank since the early 1990s and love them. They make it difficult to open an account and to transfer money out but that is one of the things I love. In fact, I live over one hour away and won't switch to another bank because I love how secure they keep your funds and they make sure I am the one taking money out of my account. Always had great service. I've had to withdraw larger sums of money a few times. Had no problem. People ask me why I don't go with one of the larger banks. I get better service with Amboy.

Will let you put money in very easily but a huge slog to take money out. So frustrating it's actually tempting to contact their regulator just to make their lives as miserable as they make mine.

I've had no problem at all moving money in and out. However, their interest rates have seriously lagged other online banks. They used to be excellent in comparison, but are now only about 1% while others are up to 3 to 3 1/2 percent... Gotta go elsewhere.
