Well, now I know why this company has such bad reviews: Non-existent customer service. They offer ZERO support for anyone who purchases their products. I bought a weather station for my husband for Christmas and it's already set up for return after dealing with their "customer service". It's very obvious they don't care about their customers because they don't even respond to any reviews. So happy Ambient Weather didn't get any of my money. Will be posting a bad review on Amazon and Yelp next. Shame on you Ambient Weather.
Very bad company to deal with - I very recently bought a personal weather station, along with a lightning detector from them. The lightning detector was dead out of the box. They refuse to exchange it for a new one, or refund my money. I would recommend anyone interested in a personal weather station to look elsewhere. Ambient Weather cannot be trusted.
Purchased WS-1965 WiFi Weather Station. Out of the box it would not report rainfall. That happens. Sometimes products fail. Not an issue. The issue is their customer support is terrible. It has been six months of contacting them, waiting weeks for a response, sending information requested, waiting weeks for a response, following up because there is no response, finally told to fill out an online response, never hearing back.
I bought WS7074, the batteries only last 10 days, they have deleted me from the pages and they never respond to emails. What I ask for is a new one or a refund of my money. They are a responsible company.
I had a problem with the WS2000 unit but Courtney Dancz provided direct support so I didn't have to return the unit. Many thanks to her.
