My best friend’s wedding is this summer 2026, and honestly the whole planning part has been tough. Amber doesn’t respond to emails, communication has been a mess, and she’s so tied up with cheer that she hasn’t really prioritized anything else. In the end, my friend actually canceled with amber and booked another photographer.

I’m very disappointed to have to write this review. We’ve used Amber for a few years now - maternity, newborn and Christmas minis. I booked a maternity/newborn package in the summer for my baby due at the end of November. Communication from Amber has been just awful! Emails and calls go unanswered for weeks. I finally got a date for maternity photos which then ended up being cancelled the night before because she wasn’t feeling well. She still has not responded to me to reschedule and I’m due in 3 weeks! To be honest- my normal photographer was booked, so a quick Facebook search for fall minis brought up Amber Urey Photography so I booked! Let me tell you Kristen Manzo did not disappoint. I felt like I have personally known Kristen for years and this was my first time ever meeting her! She is super friendly, sweet and patient with children. Kristen did an awesome job on our family photos and I will definitely book again!
